Date Night Dinners • Review

Screen Shot 2018-07-02 at 7.56.23 AMWhen I was given a copy of Date Night Dinners (Meals To Make Together For a Romantic Evening) by Sloane Taylor, I was worried about my ability to write a proper review. I’m not a great cook. I make the same few dishes, over and over again, because they are simple, don’t require a lot of prep time, and always turn out well. Furthermore, since I know the author is a frequent contributor to Divine Magazine, I suspected the recipes were way beyond my ability.

As I started to flip through the pages of Date Night Dinners, however, my anxiety eased. Not only were there a broad variety of categories from which to choose, the recipes were both straightforward and easy enough, even for me.

For this review, my husband and I actually made one of the side dishes, Homemade Applesauce, and we were thrilled with the results. I altered the recipe by adding cinnamon and omitting most of the sugar, and it still tasted absolutely scrumptious. Even my dubious 19-year-old son ate a bowl and asked if there was any left!

I put together a video of the experience, to show how easy and fun it was. Date Night Dinners (arrow1twistingclick HERE for preview) is available both in ebook and paperback format, and I encourage you to give it a try. Two thumbs up! ~ Suzanne
